Easyserv does not sell its controller and control directly to the homeowner, but always to the electricity company*. We charge a monthly fee for the control, while the electricity company receives all additional income and cost reductions.

Very often, the only contact an electricity company has with its customers is the bill they receive. By selling and installing Easyserv's control unit, the electricity company gets a natural contact opportunity with its customer. And you get a long-term relationship where you benefit the customer. Selling support services
Svenska Kraftnät pays out billions of kronor per year, which are distributed to those who can reduce their power consumption when Sweden's power consumption is higher than production and imports at the same time, and to those who can increase their power consumption when the situation is the opposite. SvK pays different amounts of compensation depending on how quickly you react to a signal to reduce or increase your power output.
The very fastest services with a reaction time of 1 second are not accessible, as it is not possible to shut down a heat pump that quickly in a controlled manner. However, we can control a relatively large proportion of the connected heat pumps within the next support level, 7.5 seconds, and even more within the next level, 30 seconds. The revenue for these support services accrues to the electricity company under our business model.
The social benefit = cost reduction for all of us residents in Sweden is very large because it costs many times more to achieve the same thing with, for example, batteries.
Controlling power consumption in the local electricity grid
By 26.12.31, all electricity companies in Sweden are required by law to have introduced capacity charges. Some electricity companies have already introduced them, so if you live in such an area, you may know what this means. Otherwise, within the next year or two, you will already be told by your electricity company.
In short, power charges mean that you no longer pay a fixed fee according to your fuse (if you have 16 or 20 amps or more), but you pay according to the maximum power you use in a single hour during a month.
If the heat pump, electric car charger, washing machine, etc. are running at the same time, there will be a high power consumption at that time. But if you spread out the use to different times, the power consumption will not be as high, and you will not have to pay as much in power charges to the electricity company that month.
The heat pump is by far one of the biggest consumers of electricity, so by helping you to use it a little less when you use electricity for a lot of other things, your power charge will be lower.
